How to Automate School Fee Reminders

Fee reminders are repetitive, time-sensitive and personal — a good fit for automation.
Store balances safely
Keep each family's balance in a protected custom field. In Zoril SMS, protected fields are visible only to organisation admins, so other staff cannot see financial details.
Write one template with merge fields
For example: "Dear {{name}}, the fee balance for this term is UGX {{balance}}. Kindly clear by 30 May. — St. Mary's School". Preview a few recipients before sending to check the values look right.
Schedule the reminder
Choose a future date and time, confirm the displayed timezone, and review the saved schedule in Campaigns. Daily, weekly and monthly recurrence are available where shown. Keep balance/payment data current yourself: there is no built-in authorised financial integration or payment-event link that automatically removes parents who have paid. Pause or cancel reminders when they are no longer appropriate.
